Whether you’re looking for a way to entice your children to spend more time outside in or near Wenatchee or you want them to be better prepared to encounter snakes and other cold-blooded crawlers on hikes, this class is a great option for both the old and young. Join Scott Fitkin to learn more about the snakes of our area, their habitats, fun facts, and what to watch for when you’re out on the trail. This online course is scheduled for May 5, just three days before the spring snake count in the Methow Valley. Take the course then help with count! Cost is $15 per person. The live class is from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on May 5, but they’ll send you the recording if you can’t make it during that time.
